Final touch-up of our house renovation

Immediate process of renovation: Final touch-up and handing-over
Following step: House cleaning and dust removal for about 2 weeks
Next month: Furniture and home appliance delivery and installation
Final procedure: Moving in... perhaps in the month of September, just weeks before our big day.

Lights up

Went down to our new house on the 20th June evening to check on the progress. The lights were fixed except that the "zhui-kueh" lighting in our master room. Vivian told us that the light covers was cracked at the edge and need to be exchanged from Lumieres. Sigh...

Here are some of the photos showing some of the lights fixed.

The TV console pivoting wall was also fixed onto the bench as shown below...We have also taken more photos during our last visit to our new house on 23rd June.. At the moment, the reno firm is at the process of handing over our finished house back to us... will put the completed reno photos on my blog once I gotten the photos from ger... heehee...

Blue floral embroidery

We went to GHA bridal studio on the 4th June for fitting of Ger's wedding and evening gown. Here's a sneak preview of the evening gown...
Ger, you are going to be the prettiest bride on the our wedding day!
We visited our house on that morning too and took a few photos to show the progress of our reno.
The whole house were painted and the floor tiles were polished though it was very dusty. Some of the floor tiles in the living area wasn't laid properly and we have to let our reno coordinator know.

Here are some of the photos we took when we're there...

The display niche on the living area wall is constructed and painted. The spots are reflection of the flash light as the room is very dusty. A photo taken in our masterbed room... Wall is painted with colour "galaxy"... Notice the new Starmex Mitsubishi aircon wrapped...
Ger's idea of getting one of the wall in one of the bedroom to be painted in bright red is daring and at first we are contemplating whether to paint it red... Now, we felt that we didnt make the wrong choice...
This photo is taken at the living area... We made a good decision of hacking down the wall of the study room and this made the living and dining room really bright. Notice the bright red wall in one of the bedroom.

The capentry work have started on Monday 11th June and we'll be going down tomorrow to see the progress.

We found our dining table!

It has been long since I have last update my blog. Last week was a busy one as we went to see our new house on 31st May, Vesak Day. First we went to check out our house. Here's some of the updated photos where our living room walls are flushed up and all the living balcony and service balcony windows are up.

After visiting our house, we went to IMM to make payment for our air-conditioner. As we won't be around at the new house to check on the installation, we need to pay in advance of one day. At the same time, we saw the dining table with chair that we liked. Here are some of the photos of the table and chairs.

The table on display was 150cm long but we ask for it to be lengthen to 160cm.

We decided to have 4 black and 2 white chairs to go along with our dining table.
